Due to a sexual misconduct scandal, Dunamis Church has removed gospel singer Sammie Okposo off its list of concert ministers.
Sammie Okposo, the embattled gospel singer, has been pulled off the roster of performers who were scheduled to perform at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja on Friday evening. According to a fresh flier uploaded on Instagram on Tuesday, the singer's name has been removed from the event.
Following Okposo's admission of cheating on his wife in an Instagram post, this development has occurred. The pastor stated in a lengthy article that he had halted himself from all ministry activities until he had received full restoration from God as he sought forgiveness from him.
According to the Christian musician, who made the revelation on his Instagram page, Nigerians should pray for him as well.
When he traveled to the United States in late 2021, he claimed that he committed adultery with a different woman.
"On my recent trip to the United States (late 2021), I became deeply engaged with a lady, knowing that this was not proper as a married man and a minister of the gospel. I am ashamed and regret my actions, as they have caused a great deal of anguish to my lovely wife, Ozioma, my family, and I."
